Basketball Senior Night Information
Boys Senior Night will be TOMORROW, FRIDAY, JANUARY 26 immediately following the Varsity Girls game. Families are encouraged to be at the gym no later than 6:45!
Girls Senior Night for basketball and cheer will be on Friday, February 2nd immediately following the JV Boys game. Families should arrive by 5:00 pm.

Broaddus ISD will run all bus routes this afternoon however drop off time may be a little different than usual. We will make sure that all kids get home safely. It is our mission to make sure that we keep our students on a regular academic schedule as much as we possibly can all the while keeping them safe. Thank you for your continued patience and support!
The Big Kahuna trip scheduled for Thursday, January 25 will be postponed. A new date will be announced soon. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Broaddus ISD buses will run at regular time today. We have driven the majority of our bus routes and everything is clear except CR 319. Please use extreme caution traveling to school and work. Use your own judgement when traveling and stay safe.
I have been down most of the roads and at this moment all the roads are in good shape besides CR 319. CR 319 a part of the road is closed off. Be careful. I will be driving around our school district boundary lines at 4:30 am. I will keep you posted as fast as I can. School is still on.
The superintendent has been in contact with the county commissioners and with Texdot on the weather conditions and road conditions all through the night and early in the morning. Please stay tuned for any delays or school closures. Thank you for your support during this rain.

Winter Weather School Update

BISD campuses will open on time tomorrow, Wednesday 17th, with a normal schedule and a regular bus start time.

Winter Weather School Update
School will be closed on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024
BISD Staff/Parents/Guardians:
BISD has experienced winter precipitation with icy conditions on our roads. With temperatures expected to stay before freezing today and tomorrow, BISD will cancel school on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024. All extra-curricular activities will be postponed until further notice.
Our top priority is the safety of our students, staff, and community. We will continue to monitor the weather to see if further delays or cancellations are needed.
As of now, we will resume classes on Wednesday, January 17th, at regular time. I will notify all stakeholders tomorrow afternoon if changes need to be made.
Please stay safe and check on your loved ones.
