Broaddus Elementary 5th grade is participating in a 6-week series or guest speakers presenting self-awareness, self motivation, and positive practices. Guest speaker this week was Amber Hight presenting a lesson on Expectations and What is Love to the 5th grade class. Special Valentines presentation. Thanks Mrs. Amber.
Baseball is just around the corner! The first game of the season will be played on Friday, 2/16 at HOME vs Big Sandy. First strike is scheduled for 2 pm. Come out in support as they play their season opener!
Just a couple reminders. We will have early release this Friday, 2/16 followed by Winter Break February 19-23. We will see you back in school on Monday, February 26!
Congratulations to the Lady Bulldogs on their decisive victory in the Bi-District round of the playoffs. They defeated the Garrison Lady Bulldogs in Woden last night.
Next stop is the Area Championship round. Our Ladies will face Union Grove on Friday, February 16 at 6pm in Gary. We hope to see you all there. The girls will be back in their black uniforms, so join them by wearing your black playoff or Lady Bulldog gear!

This week in Broaddus Athletics
Today begins the Lady Bulldogs' playoff run. After an UNDEFEATED district run, our Ladies will take on Garrison tonight at the King Gymnasium in Woden. Tip off is scheduled for 6pm. Come LOUD and come PROUD! Also, check out the program designed by our Graphic Design student, Greyson Warden.
The SHAMROCK GAMES are back! The date has been SET for Saturday, March 23.
PLAYOFF SHIRTS ARE IN! You may pick up your shirts in the High School office before 3:30 pm today, Friday, & Monday!

Thank you to everyone who supported Broaddus Elementary with our Big Kahuna fundraising. We celebrated with a Monster bus ride for over 70 students today!
Kim Holloway and Amber Hight presented today in San Antonio, Texas at the CTE conference on moving from a "C" to an "A". B I.S.D. is very proud of our leaders.
