Winter Weather School Update
Regular Schedule for Wednesday, 17th, 2024
BISD Staff/Parents/Guardians:
BISD campuses will open on time tomorrow, Wednesday 17th, with a normal schedule and a regular bus start time.

Winter Weather School Update
School will be closed on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024
BISD Staff/Parents/Guardians:
BISD has experienced winter precipitation with icy conditions on our roads. With temperatures expected to stay before freezing today and tomorrow, BISD will cancel school on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024. All extra-curricular activities will be postponed until further notice.
Our top priority is the safety of our students, staff, and community. We will continue to monitor the weather to see if further delays or cancellations are needed.
As of now, we will resume classes on Wednesday, January 17th, at regular time. I will notify all stakeholders tomorrow afternoon if changes need to be made.

All athletics practices for Broaddus ISD have been CANCELED for Tuesday, January 16th. Updates will be made as necessary.

Due to the inclement weather on Tuesday, January 16, Broaddus ISD will delay the start of school by two hours.
Doors will be open at 9:30 a.m., and school will start at 10:00 a.m.
Buses will pick students up two hours later than usual.
Be safe and stay warm.

Varsity Girls will be taking on Christoval in the Holiday Hoops Tournament in Tenaha this afternoon at 2pm! They will play in the Tiger Gym. We hope you can all make it.
Broaddus Basketball won't end just because there is a break! The Varsity Girls will be competing in the Holiday Hoops Tournament hosted by Tenaha High School over the holiday. The dates for the tournament are December 27-29. Please see the attachments for dates, times, and locations for the games.

Broaddus Elementary Christmas Program
The vet is here and ready to work!
Sock drive delivery was made to Colonial Pines today. Socks were bagged up by our 4th grade class and delivered by our Pre k 4 and 2nd grade classes. While delivering our students sang Christmas carols for the residents and wished them a veey Merry Christmas.
