National Yearbook Week is October 1 – 7, 2023! Proclaimed in 1987 by then-President Ronald Reagan, it was declared to recognize the importance of preserving memories and school tradition and also to celebrate freedom of the press.
In celebration of this week, the Broaddus Yearbook staff will have a raffle this week for a $25 gift card. To enter, you must order and pay for your 2024 yearbook by Friday at noon. Drawing will be held at 2:30 Friday afternoon. See your yearbook staff or Coach Chandler for information!

Tuesday will be PINK OUT NIGHT for our Junior High Basketball teams.
Our XC runners will travel to Central Elementary Campus tomorrow morning. Race times are attached below.
Both County school districts participated in a Counselor's Lunch and Learn with the Children's Advocacy Center today. The CAC is a community-based, child-friendly and trauma-informed organization that's coordinates a multidisciplinary response to child maltreatment allegations. Broaddus ISD appreciates the CAC for their service with the students in our county. Also big thank you to Tasha's kitchen for catering lunch and the sweet gift bag of goodies.
It's game day for our JH Basketball teams. We will travel to Wells for 3 games starting at 5 pm. There will be 2 girls games followed by 1 boys. We hope to see you all there!
JH Softball is right around the corner. The first JH practice will be on Wednesday, October 11. We will conclude at 5:00 p.m. that day, and we will have our parent meeting immediately following practice. Please make every effort to attend!

See You at the Pole will be next Wednesday, September 27. Elementary will begin at 8:00 am after announcements. High School will begin at 7:30 am!
Athletics Photos for fall sports will be taken on Wednesday, September 27 during the athletics periods. Order forms will be sent home with athletes TOMORROW, Friday, 9/22. Sports that will take photos include cross country, basketball, and cheer for both junior high and high school. Team photos will also be taken. JH Basketball will be hosting Martinsville this Thursday, September 21 for 2 games beginning at 5 pm. We hope to see you all there!
Bulldog Mini Cheer is coming soon! Hosted by Bulldog Cheer exclusively for mini-cheerleaders in grades K-5. All mini-cheerleaders will get a shirt, bow, and lunch. They will also perform at Meet the Bulldogs on October 24! Return registration forms by Friday, September 22. Price is $30 per camper!
