This Saturday is the first Saturday School of the year! It will begin at 8 AM sharp and end at 12 NOON. If your student received an attendance letter, they also should have received an invitation to make up some time by attending Saturday School. Please call the office to let us know if your student will be in attendance. Questions can be directed to your campus principal.

San Augustine County has a County Disaster Declaration in place. Everyone who has had a loss needs to fill this form out with estimates of your damage. Please go to https://arcg.is/uOrOb. Once we have submitted enough information, then FEMA will look at our County. This is not a quick process, but this is the next step. Also, there will be MRE's and water at the Broaddus Community Center in the near future. Be on the look out for this information. If you need any additional assistance please inform your county officials.

The fourth time is the charm!! Finally, the Broaddus Bulldogs will take on the Tenaha Tigers in the bi-district round of the basketball playoffs tomorrow Tuesday, February 23, in Wells at 6 P.M. If you want a ticket to get into the game, there are 60 tickets in the administration office now first come first serve. You get the ticket now and then pay at the gate. We hope to see you there!! Also, the playoff T-shirts for the boys were supposed to get here last Wednesday, but due to the weather they are supposed to now be delivered tomorrow. Hopefully they will get here in the morning and we can get them all distributed before the game! As soon as I get them in, they will be distributed! --Coach Flowers

Updated Playoff Game Info: Girls: Broaddus Lady Bulldogs will play Union Grove at Cushing on Monday at 6. If you have already purchased a ticket, you will use that ticket to enter the gate. If you have not purchased tickets, they can be purchased at the gate on game day. Boys: Broaddus Bulldogs will play Teneha at Wells on Tuesday at 6. Tickets will be available for the community/staff spectators at the BISD Administration office Monday from 12:00-3:30. Players will get family tickets from the coach on Monday. You will show your ticket and pay at the gate on game day.

UPDATE: Due to the continued inclement weather the Boys will play at 2:00pm and the Girls will play at 4:00 pm in Timpson on Saturday, Feb. 20th *Tickets will be sold at Broaddus Gym today from 4-6, $5 each

The Boy’s playoff game will be played on Saturday in Timpson at 11:00 am and the Girl’s game will follow at 1:00. All spectators will have to wear the proper PPE and have purchased a ticket before the game. No tickets will be sold at the gymnasium. You can purchase tickets this Friday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the High School gym. After the Boys game, the gym will be cleared out for cleaning. You will then be able to re-enter for the girl’s game. Good luck to both teams and stay safe.

Broaddus will be allowed 175 tickets for the area round playoff game. The game will be Tuesday, February 16 at 6:30 PM in Timpson. If the game is postponed due to weather it will be played the same time and same site on Wednesday. Tickets will be five dollars each and will be pre-sold out of the concession stand on Saturday at Bulldog gym. Once you purchase your ticket you will just need to show it to get in the gym in Timpson. Children under two years old get in free. Thank you for all of the support, Broaddus showed up and showed out last night! Go Lady Bulldogs!
