🌟 Broaddus ISD Spotlight 🌟 We are proud to celebrate Mrs. Kayleigh Moran, one of our dedicated educators, who recently took her passion for teaching across borders! 🇲🇽✈️
As part of her Master’s in Education program, Mrs. Kayleigh completed a study abroad experience in Mexico, where she spent five days teaching physical education to students in a rural school, ages 3–15. During her time there, she gained valuable tools to support students who are not native English speakers, including Total Physical Response, modeling, translanguaging, and comprehensible input strategies.
This international experience allowed her to grow professionally and personally, learning more about effective teaching and the beauty of diverse cultures. 🌍💙
Mrs. Kayleigh will officially graduate on August 7, 2025, with her Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education — and we couldn’t be more proud!

You can check your child's performance in two easy ways:
Visit broaddusisd.com
Log in to Parent Portal and then select Texas Assessment.
OR
Go to TexasAssessment.gov
Parents can access their student’s test scores through the Family Portal.
Log in using your child's credentials to access scores.
Additionally, state report cards are being mailed out to provide further insights into your child's performance.
Stay informed and support your child's learning journey! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to your child’s school.

Broaddus Bulldog cheerleaders recently completed their UCA summer camps. Our Junior High cheerleaders had a great camp at home and got to show off our new friend, Gloria the Gator, to our UCA staff! We earned a trophy, and we had three All-American cheerleaders: Ellysin Scott, Brylee Jacks, and Harley Corgan.
Our Varsity cheerleaders had a very successful camp at Great Wolf Lodge where we won 1st place in the Small Varsity division for the overall spirit routine (band chant, sideline, and cheer), 2nd place on the cheer alone, and an improvement trophy for small Varsity. Evey Dominey was selected for All-American and was invited to try out for UCA Staff after graduation. We earned a spirit stick every day and a blue ribbon (top ribbon) evaluation on our spirit routine. Kinzie Sowell and Haylie Willis were both selected to receive the Pin-It-Forward award, which is given to those who show great sportsmanship and positive attitudes.
We can't wait to see everyone in the stands this fall to cheer on our Bulldogs!
