Students in the Practicum in Nursing class with Mrs. Boston had the opportunity yesterday to visit the Houston Health Museum.
The museum has an interactive model of the skeletal system, including a floor to ceiling model of the spine and ribs, a 12ft tall beating heart, and a human heart wheel with a biometrics system. The students got to crawl through intestine model with different diseases to inspect how each disease affected the body. The museum had many more models and interactive parts that allowed the students a fun and hands on way of reinforcing the knowledge that they have learned this year.
A new delivery driver yesterday afternoon caught our phone line with their 18-wheeler snapping the cable. Because of this elementary will be without phones for the rest of the day. If you wish to contact the elementary please use our temporary number 936-872-3439.

Students in the Advanced Plant Science Program of Study had the opportunity to engage in hands on learning today with our business industry partner Tractor Supply.
These students learned a lot of real world applications in Plant Science and even spent some time creating some planter arrangements. Thank you Tractor Supply for supporting Broaddus High School CTE Students!
Broaddus Sam Rayburn Lions Club is selling tickets for a CRAWFISH PARTY PACK! All proceeds benefit the Lions Club Broaddus Scholarship fund. Tickets are available at the high school office or from a Lions Club member. $5 each or 5 for $20
Broaddus Bulldogs baseball will play their last game of the season on the road tonight against San Augustine. The first pitch is scheduled for 6 pm.

Broaddus Baseball will be in Colmesneil for a double header tonight, with the first pitch scheduled for 4:30 pm.
Broaddus Athletics Awards Ceremony will be on Tuesday, May 16th at 6 pm in the gym. We invite the community to come join as we celebrate the athletic achievements of our amazing students for the 2022-2023 school year!
