Broaddus Elementary 5th grade is participating in a 6-week series of guest speakers presenting self-awareness, self motivation, and positive practices. Jathan Green spoke with Broaddus Elementary students on the importance of perseverance and supporting your peers in their success as well as their own success. Thank you Mr. Green for spending the afternoon with our students.



The 4th and 5th grade classes took a field trip to the SFASU Planetarium to watch The Great Barrior Reef and to Su Su's Popcorn and Candy Cafe for a lesson on how popcorn is made and flavored. What a fun and educational experience for our students.







Congratulations to our very own Whitnee Teagle & Jalia Mitchell for being selected to the TABC All-Region team. They were 2 of only 10 selected athletes for this honor. We are so proud of you!

Our High School Track athletes will travel to Livingston this afternoon for a track meet. Good luck to all athletes!

Guest speaker Nana Antwi-Boasiako with SFA Mens Basketball spoke with Broaddus Elementary students on the importance of education, structure, and accountability as they begin to transition from elementary to junior high. Thank you Nana for spending the afternoon with our students.



Mrs. Betsy Toner was selected to receive the 2024 Gilbert I. "Buddy" Low Excellence in Education Award. Broaddus ISD is very proud of this accomplishment. She was chosen from an impressive collection of nominations submitted by other schools.

Leo the Lion with ADAC made a special appearance to 2nd grade a Pre K 3 & 4 delivering stickers, pencils and coloring pages with a friendly reminder to make good choices.



Mrs. Mollie would like to congratulate everyone who has earned a Reading Buddy this year. Students have until April 12 to meet their goal.
