Junior High celebrated the end of the first six weeks today with an assembly before lunch. Junior high teachers voted on students who have demonstrated responsibility this six weeks:
6th grade Raelyn Thacker and Ronnie Gaxiola
7th grade Kacie Welch and Marioni Rodriguez
8th grade Chloe Downs and Jaxson Bridges
Mrs. Lott also hosted a game of Family Fued (teachers vs. students). The teachers were excited to pull off the win!

Attendance winners for the week of September 3-7, each week the junior high will participate in an attendance challenge. The grade level that wins get to carry around the Golden Bulldog and have Tech Time during lunch. Congratulations 7th grade
Weather Update
BISD is watching and keeping an eye on a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico that could become a hurricane, Francine.
The forecast track of Tropical Storm Francine has shifted further east as of today and is now expected to make landfall in Central Louisiana.
If there are any school closures or delays, notifications will be sent out through social media. Please make sure that you have our app or that you are on our Facebook page.

Tomorrow we will welcome our students and start the 24-25 school year. Over the last couple weeks we have been preparing for the upcoming year. Our community has loved on us, fed us and prayed over us. Thank you Broaddus Pentecost Church, Trinity Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, Attoyac Baptist Church, Higginbotham AC and Sheet Metal (Josh and NikiHigginbotham). We appreciate the food, fellowship, supplies and friendships. Thank you from BISD for your continuing support, generosity and love.
