7th grade students were treated to a virtual visit with Chris Slavin, the creator and author of Classroom Cereal, a supplemental grammar and comprehension tool used in 6th and 7th grade ELA classes. Mr. Slavin noted that the students at Broaddus ISD were "curious, fun...and so respectful." Thank you for your time, Mr. Slavin!
The Junior High Valentine’s dance hosted by GT students is this Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 6 pm-9pm. Get your tickets for $5 from Mrs. Reyna or the office, or for $7 at the door. Tickets include light refreshments. Come dance the night away!
Junior high GT students recently held a raffle for a Valentine’s gift card basket. On Monday, they drew Hope Lacy's name! Congratulations, Ms. Lacy, and thank you to everyone who donated or purchased tickets. We appreciate your support!

SEMESTER 2 CYCLE 1 INTERIM PROGRESS REPORTS
Junior High GT is holding a Valentine’s raffle for a basket with goodies and over $100 in gift cards. Purchase tickets from the office, Mrs. Reyna, or a Junior High GT student for $1 each or 6 for $5. The drawing will be on February 10, 2025.
BISD will have regular start time for tomorrow, 1/22/25. See everyone back at school tomorrow.
Varsity basketball games will start at 5:30 PM vs Wells at home.
Due to the inclement weather that is expected to be in our area, Broaddus ISD will not be having school on Tuesday 21st. If there will be any other closures or delays, it will be posted on social media and our website. All extra curricular activities will be postponed.

We celebrated our Elementary UIL team members today!

We had a busy day on the elementary campus today. During the assembly for the 3rd 6 weeks, we recognized AR goals met, attendance, A honor roll and AB honor roll. Students who achieved these goals participated in a little a Homecoming basketball shoot out. Our chant leaders for the assembly are the 5th grade Jr King and Queen Michael Becks and Kiley McCarty, who will represent the elementary tonight at the High School Homecoming games.
Bulldog Homecoming is next week!!! Here are the theme days. 💙
•Students may wear their mums/corsages on Friday as long as they are not a distraction.
•Presentation of the court will be Friday, January 10, following the Varsity Boys' game. 👑
•Seniors will host a Disco Dance (high school students only) afterward. 💃🕺
