Broaddus ISD Vacancy Announcement Date Posted: 1 April 2019 Application Deadline: 11 April 2019 Position Title: Campus Aide (computer lab and library) Reports To: Elementary Principal Salary: Salary is per Broaddus ISD pay scale Length of Work Year: 202 days Position Summary: The successful applicant will work under minimum supervision to ensure the efficient operation of the computer lab and library. In addition, the successful applicant will assist the elementary secretary and will complete other duties assigned. Position Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or GED Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of computer programs, proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills, ability to shelve books and lift boxes under 30 pounds, ability to work well with children, teachers and parents, effective organizational skills, communication and interpersonal skills. It was a lot of hard work not luck that made this year's Shamrock Games a great success, and the sophomore class has a pot of gold profit of 2,400.80 to show for it! Mrs. Lewis, class sponsor, would like to thank all of the parents, students, and community members who pitched in to make this event so successful. Hats off to Trinity Dykes for selling around 150 raffle tickets, Geneka Lacy & Lility Utz for working so hard in the kitchen Friday, & Rachel Lakey & Olivia Parker for their awesome decorating, & Haley Welch & Lilith for their extra long hours Saturday. Look what's happening in the Art Room! A few weeks ago HS students worked on scratch board. They selected an image, transferred it to scratch board & then 'scratched' out the design using line techniques like hatching & cross hatching. The results were amazing! ~~ Mrs. Fuller
