Just a reminder:Junior High and High School Meet the Teacher will be Monday, August 8th from 4:00-6:00. We can’t wait to see everyone, It’s going to be a great school year!

Broaddus Junior High and High School are ready to welcome students back to campus. Enrollment Packets are ready to pick up at the High School, these can be turned in on Meet the Teacher night. Meet the Teacher for Junior High and High School will be from 4:00-6:00 on the night of August the 8th. Updated Dress Code and Cell Phone Policy can be found on the BISD website.

Just a reminder enrollment packets are available starting Monday July 25th at the elementary office for paper copy pick up. Please plan to return those packets during Meet the Teacher on Monday August 8th or send on first day of school August 10th. Anyone who doesn't get a packet beforehand will have one sent home with student on first day.

For interested parties, we will host a workshop to prepare you for substitute teaching in our district. Substitutes earn $75 per day, $80 per day with a degree, or $85 per day with a teaching certification. Interested parties may contact Scharla Haley @ 936-872-3041 to get an application and more information.

School supplies will be provided this year but students will be required to have their own water bottle and backpack. Water bottles are only meant for water (also no yeti bottles).


The State of Texas has released STAAR scores for parents to look at. Please use the following link to look up your student scores https://txparentportal.emetric.net/lookup-access-code. If you have any problems accessing them, call the school on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
The District as a whole scored extremely high. I am very proud of our students and parents for their commitment to their education. Hard work pays off. I can't wait to see our District rating. I predict that it will be the highest that it has ever been. Proud to be a BULLDOG! #BULLDOGPROUD

SFA Summer STEM Camps - Fully funded

The SFA STEM Research and Learning Center is excited to announce our upcoming Investigations in Math and Science (iMAS) Academy for summer 2022! With generous support from the Texas Workforce Commission the STEM Center will AGAIN fund two iMAS Academy programs this summer. Both a week-long day camp and a week-long overnight camp will be offered.
Applications are now being accepted for Summer 2022 iMAS Academies! These camps target students ages 14-16 who meet one or more of the following criteria: underserved populations in STEM, including females and ethnic and racial minorities; students from low-income families; students with disabilities; and foster youth. Students may apply to both camps but will only be accepted to one. Space is limited and a math or science teacher recommendation is required for the application to be complete. Due to our limited space, not all applicants will be accepted. Please see attached PDF flyers for more information.
iMAS Academy Day Camp: June 13-17 * Students must be 14 prior to the start of camp
8:30 am until 1:30 pm with lunch included
