Please make plans to join us on April 3rd for our annual CTE Showcase Night. The purpose of the CTE Showcase Night is to inform 8th grade students and families about High School Graduation requirements, Career & Technical Education, and other opportunities offered to students at BHS. BHS CTE Showcase Night will be held in the High School Library and will begin at 6:00 PM.

East Texas Hoops Playdate is scheduled for Saturday, May 27 at the Broaddus High School Gymnasium. There will be a boys & girls bracket. We will take the first 6 teams to enter, so get in now! $150 entry fee per team. Contact Coach Boyles at nigelboyles@broaddusisd.com.
Just a reminder that spring picture day is coming up next week. Yearbook retakes, class photos, spring pictures BY ORDER ONLY, and clubs/organizations will be taken. Order forms are available in your campus offices, or your may email ashleychandler@broaddusisd.com for a form.

Congratulations to our One Act Play cast and crew under the direction of Larita Reyna & Betsy Toner, as they advance to bi-district competition with their production of Her Senior Year. Performance is scheduled for March 21 at Panola College!
Attention BISD Athletes. Mark your calendars for April 6th. Physicals will be offered for all athletes in Grade 6-12 on campus for $20. Athletes will need a completed physical prior to participating in any athletics events for the 23-24 school year. Letter Jacket sizing will also be on this day for any eligible student who has not already received their jacket. See the flyer for additional information.
What is a Diagnostician in relation to education?
Educational Diagnosticians are special educators who assess students suspected of disabilities and write formal reports. They often are the spokesperson at ARD meetings and assist special and general educators to provide students with the appropriate education they deserve, based on assessments. This week Broaddus Elementary honors our Diagnostician Luci Jones and thanks her for all she does for our students!
