The Broaddus ISD Christmas Giving Tree applications are now available at the elementary and secondary offices. The Giving Tree is for students attending the district, whose families are in need of help with gifts this Christmas season. Applications are due back to the school by Friday, December 7th at 3:20 pm. Applications will not be accepted after that date. Thanks.

Voting for Homecoming Court will be held during HS lunch in the JH/HS Media Center Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018 for seniors to select king & queen nominees and again on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018 for all HS classes to select the official Homecoming Court. Make sure you are at school to vote!

We would like to thank the PTA for the Christmas welcome back decorations. The faculty, staff, and students loved it.

Applications for the BISD Giving Tree will be taken until 12-7-18 (NO EXCEPTIONS). Gifts must be picked up on 12-21-18 by noon. Gifts not picked up will be sent to local charities. Paper applications will be available 11-26-18 at the EL or JH/HS office.

Congratulations to our yearbook staff! They are one of four schools in our region to be nominated for Balfour Sample Yearbook! If their yearbook is selected, then it will be sent to schools across the nation as an example of yearbook excellence! Way to go guys and good luck!

The elementary Thanksgiving Program is today at 9:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Just a reminder that tomorrow is an early release for students as they leave for Thanksgiving Break. Buses will run at 12:30. Students will be out next week and school will resume at normal time on Monday, November 26th.

Report cards will be sent home with students today.

On Friday, Nov. 9th Broaddus Elementary will recognize Veterans Day. Veterans are invited to join us at the flagpole for the Pledge of Allegiance @ 7:55am. Faculty, staff and students are asked to wear red, white or blue.
