Broaddus I.S.D Today at approximately 12:50 pm the fire alarm was activated at the JH/HS campus, and all students safely evacuated the building within 3 minutes. It was determined that the alarm was caused by smoke from a short in an external charger. Fans were brought in by the maintenance department to clear residual smoke from a hallway, and the room where the incident occurred was sealed off. Classes have now all resumed. If you have any questions, you may call the front office.
Progress Reports will be sent home today with students.
