BROADDUS ISD VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Date Posted: 22 January 2019 Position Title: Administrative Secretary to the Superintendent Reports To: Superintendent. Salary: Salary is per Broaddus ISD pay scale. Length of Work Year: Two hundred and twenty days. Position Summary: The successful applicant will work under minimum supervision to ensure the efficient operation of the superintendent’s office and provide clerical services to the superintendent and board of trustees. Must be able to handle confidential information and engage in frequent contact with all levels of district employees, outside agencies, and the general public. Responsible for on-site leadership of clerical employees assigned. Position Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or GED. Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of school district organization, operations and administrative policies. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing and scheduling. Excellent public relations, organization, communication and interpersonal skills. T-Shirt Contest Rules and Guidelines: -Your design should be themed around St. Patrick’s Holiday and Basketball -Your design needs to be on the front of the shirt only -You may submit up to two designs, but they must be submitted as separate entries -Your design must be wholly original -Your design can have up to three colors -The color of the shirt will be Irish Green, so this should be a consideration for the design You must submit your design to Mrs. Lewis by 12:00 P.M., Fri., Jan. 25, 2019 Entries will be judged by the Class of 2021 officers & a panel of parents selecting two finalists. Class of 2021 will then vote on the winning entry.
